I decided to move back to New York after my oldest daughter graduated high school so I could be closer to my elderly parents. My friends told me to put my house on the market asap, but I told them I wasn’t worried. I wanted to concentrate on celebrating my daughter’s graduation. I had been following The Secret teachings and knew that everything was going to work out.

I put it out into the Universe and in no time at all I was asked by someone I worked with if I was selling my house. A family was relocating and they wanted to rent-to-own a house and mine was perfect. They came in on a Saturday morning, looked all around, and by Saturday night told me they loved it and wanted to move in. They moved in the same day I moved out.

Then I was moving what little remains I keep from Missouri to New York in a 14 foot U-Haul with nowhere to move it to. My parents and I decided that living with them and my two teenage daughters that were still in high school would be the wrong situation for all of us. But I knew The Secret was at work in my life, and I put it out there. I decided to check the NY newspaper real estate section online when we had stopped at the hotel for the night on our drive east, and there was the ad I needed for a great house to rent in my price range in a part of town I had always wanted to live in!

The lady that owns the house is wonderful and I never have to worry about fixing anything again. I just call her up and she sends someone over. She loves having us in the house and we love living here. I can walk to the water and watch the sunset every night.

Then I needed a job. All of my savings were starting to run out. So I put it out there and ‘bam,’ a new job in a field I had never thought of before.

New doors have been opening for me all the time because I am open to them. I have met old friends and new ones and my life just keeps getting better and better. Now I have new dreams and I never worry about how or when they will come true, I just put them out there in the Universe and know it will happen. Every morning I wake up grateful for all I have and all that is coming my way. It is a wonderful way to live!
