A Trek To The Himalayas.
I once read the quote, “If you truly want something, the whole Universe conspires to bring it to you.” This line has been used multiple times in Indian movies and I never thought much about it. But when I was 15, suddenly this little quote moved me a lot.
I was preparing for my class X boards, and I realized that I really needed to get out of my comfort zone and change myself for the better. I don’t know how the thought came into my mind but it did. I thought about how I would love to go to the Himalayas all by myself during the vacation. I suddenly wanted to discover myself!
I Googled about it and when I saw the pictures, I was just amazed by the magnificent beauty of the Himalayas! I told my mother that I wanted to go and she said it seemed highly impossible and that I could definitely not go alone. But I still kept my faith and kept on visualizing myself trekking in the Himalayas.
A few weeks later, after my exams were done, my mother said that one of her friend’s sons was going on a camping trip to the Himalayas, and there was an entire team of about 50 people. I immediately asked her to ask if I could join them. My parents were quite reluctant to let me go with strangers, as I had never been out of my town on my own. But I kept persisting with my desire and then, boom! The law of attraction worked its magic in marvelous ways and I went on that trip!
I made a few amazing friends and countless memories in those 10 days. They were some of the best days of my life and it was the best decision I have ever made.
Thank you, Universe!
