A Story From My Childhood
When I was seven years old, I really wanted to have a dog, so I drew a picture of a golden retriever and already gave him a name, a very special one. Then I asked my mom if we could buy a dog like him, but she said that we wouldn’t.
So I just went on with my life and didn’t think about it anymore, but then after some time a new family moved to live two houses away from us, and guess what?
They had a golden retriever puppy, which had exactly the same special name I had been planning to give to our dog. I always thought that what happened back then was very strange but cool, and after reading The Secret I knew that it had happened because of LOA. Later we did get our own dog and our dog became friends with the golden retriever and they often played together either in our garden or that other family’s garden.
Now I’ve read all three books and I’ve made some other wishes. I’ve experienced many situations where I’ve thought something like: “I wish I could go home early today from work”, or “I wish my friend would ask me to go somewhere with her” and then it came true immediately. But I’m still learning how to trust the universe with some of my “bigger” wishes.
Last week I was searching for my lost pen, and I wrote on a piece of paper a goal to find the pen, and later I found it on my desk. But the strange thing is that since it’s a bright green pen, I would have noticed it if it would have been there earlier. I think it appeared from out of nowhere!
I hope that I’ll be back soon to tell everyone that all my bigger wishes came true, too.
