My name is Elijah. I’m 12 and The Secret is my favorite book.
Last year was just about the worst year of my life. I was constantly being bullied at school. About my hair, clothes, you name it. One day as I was about to go to school, my step father Ray started talking about the Secret. Being curious as always, I started asking him about it, and he happened to have the book. So read it and finally wanted to see if it worked. For about the first week, nothing really happened but then I started to notice they weren’t really bullying me, but just talking to me. As soon as that happened I started using it to help me in my school work and put it into my other areas in my life. I would say to myself, “I know I will do good in school.” So I waited until my final report card came. Out of the whole year at school, that one time I said “I know I’ll do better”, I did.
