Three days ago my daughter told me about the book The Secret so I went to our library and checked it out and began reading it as soon as I got home. I can tell you right now, it is changing my life! As soon as I finished the first 40 pages, I began to apply what I had read about. My mind has always been filled with negative thoughts and images of myself and the people that I interact with. From the moment I put the book down after that first hour of reading, I vowed that the negative thoughts were over. What surprised me was how easy changing my thought structure was. I just refused to be mentally negative about anything. If it was bad, I just thought about something else.

For twelve years, I have been struggling to become a day trader. I am simply fascinated by it. The action is fast paced, the rewards are potentially huge, the ability to go anywhere in the world and make a living with a computer and a high speed internet connection seems irresistible. However, I have spend a fortune chasing this dream. I have failed miserably. I have gone weeks without having a winning day.

Today is Saturday. I began reading The Secret on Thursday. Yesterday, Friday, I made the best trade of my life. For the first time in many days, I had a large profit at the end of the day. But the best part is that every time I looked at a trade, it would have made money for me. All of the trades that I saw would have been for substantial gains.

Last night I took my wife out to celebrate. We decided on a restaurant with a balcony with an incredible view. It is Friday night and our little town is very busy with tourists enjoying the last days of summer and being 7 pm, parking is going to be tough and getting a good seat at the restaurant will be next to impossible. I drove to the ideal spot to park, and an empty spot was waiting for me. We walked to the restaurant and the perfect table was waiting for us at the edge of the balcony. We enjoyed a wonderful meal, and decided to go for ice cream at a little ice cream stand that is ALWAYS crowded with long lines. As we approached the order station, no one was there. We were first in line. As we stepped up to order, a high school girls soccer team fell in behind us.

I swear to you that the story I just told is exactly as it happened. I believe with all my heart that these events are The Secret at work. I can hardly wait for the rest of my life.
