IndiaA dreamer since childhood, now a 25 year old ferocious manifester.
Hi all,
Thank you so much to everyone behind this amazing website, which lets us share our incredible manifestation experiences, thus helping us to increase our faith, as well as others.
I am an amateur singer. Even though I had irregular training in vocal music, I am still kind of good at what I do. So this story starts when I was a little kid about 9 or 10 years old. As someone was browsing through the TV channels at home, I happened to catch a glimpse of an elegant lady clad in a sparkling silk saree singing an old song in a classy way on the stage with bright lights. It was apparently a film award function. I was so very enchanted by the lights, decorations, the charisma of the singer, and her magnanimous voice that the scene was captured in my mind’s eye. It was probably just 3 seconds long, but as I went to sleep that night, I could only think of that. I wanted to be able to sing that majestic song on a big stage under such bright lights. But I didn’t know how since, by then, I had discontinued my music classes and had no hope of continuing further.
Fast forward a few years. I went to college where there was not much discrimination. During my second year, I came under the tutelage of a professor who was in charge of the college orchestra that plays during every cultural event. All of us had got our solo songs ready, and the culture was drawing near. Then, our professor informed us that another professor, Dr. A, would be joining us to sing one particular song, which he does every year, and that he wanted a female singer for the duet. He personally asked me to prepare for the audition.
Now, the part where I went to the audition itself was a challenging story. On the particular day when Dr.A would select one of us, I had another audition for the college fest. I gave the first one and successfully got selected. Thrilled, I went back to the hostel to refresh, and when I got out to go to the practice venue, I was stopped by the watchman at the gate, saying that it was past curfew time and no one was allowed to go out for any purpose. These hostel rules were so stringent for no reason. I pleaded with him and spoke with the matron, explaining my situation, but to no avail. I was so emotionally overwhelmed that I started crying, knowing that if I didn’t go, then I would lose my only chance.
Then, at one point, I got help from my senior to sneak out, and off I went to the practice venue. There, after I had calmed down, I sang that song with so much energy that Dr.A was thrilled. He wanted me to sing the duet with him and even said that I had the vibrato voice of the original singer, LR Eswari, ma’am. Thus I had the honor of singing the duet with my professor during the college cultural in the 100 year old majestic auditorium.
Guess what the song was? It was the same one I had dreamed of singing many years ago! Everything fell amazingly into the right place for me to realize this small dream of mine. I cannot help but wonder at the marvelous ways that the Universe plays to get your dream to reality.
