I received The Secret CDs a little over a year ago. I started to listen, and of course I was very skeptical about what I was hearing. But, as time past, I would listen to the tapes daily, and my questions/requests began to come true – and at the oddest times.

For instance, my husband and I lived out in the countryside on 20 acres that we rented. The place was beautiful and we loved it, but the price of gas was preventing us from continuing our country lifestyle. I began to “ask” the universe for a nice home in a town close to where we presently lived. A place that would not cause us to go broke commuting back and forth to work every day. Shortly after this request, we found a beautiful home, close to shopping, parks, and within ten houses of where our son/daughter-in-law lives. It truly is the perfect home. A believer now – yes, but….

Yesterday, I lost something very important. My name badge for work. I need this piece of identification to open all doors in my building, plus my monthly bus pass was attached to my badge. I looked everywhere. I back tracked several times, and I couldn’t find it. I resorted to getting a temporary badge for the day, but I still needed my badge to get on a bus to get home. I was very frustrated, and felt very stupid for losing it.

So I sat at my desk, concentrated, and put my request to the universe. Reminded myself to believe and receive, then I relaxed, ready to go back to work. Just as I was about to start typing on my keyboard, my badge dropped to the floor from its hiding place in the folds of my chair. I was dumbfounded. Am I a believer in the Secret? I am a doubter no more. I share this belief with everyone.

It was a little thing, but big things come in very small packages – like an identification badge wrapped in plastic.
