My husband and I lost everything we owned during the financial crisis in 2008. It was a very dark time losing our home and moving from Las Vegas back to Utah. During this time, we became enlightened to living a positive and grateful life, so in many ways, we realized it was the best thing that could have happened to us.

Several years after arriving back to Salt Lake, we took life by the horns and decided to move up in the mountains to rent a home and buy some horses, our newfound passion. After living in Midway for several years, the owner of the house we rented put her house up for sale but we couldn’t afford to buy it, plus we had no credit to buy a house. I went into panic mode wondering how in the world we would be able to find another rental to accommodate 2 horses and a 200lb dog. My husband told me to just throw it out to the Universe to provide us with a home of equal value. So, I did just that!

My dog and I would go for a run every morning and during that time I would ask the Universe to bring me a home of equal value. Our current home was a small farmhouse but big enough for our animals and was 2 miles from the Deer Creek reservoir where my husband liked to fish. I was faithful in asking the Universe for the same thing every morning.

The Universe answered, and we found a home in a nearby community. Thinking we would never qualify nor have all the funds, we went for it anyway and we were approved!! Money was falling out of the sky from places we never saw coming!

The Universe really came through as the home in Peoa is a small farmhouse just big enough for our animals and it’s 2 miles from the Rockport reservoir where my husband can fish! You couldn’t ask for a home of more equal value! We demonstrated a positive outlook through the whole process and the Universe carried us through from our darkest time to the happiest we have ever been! We are exactly where the Universe intended us to be! Thank you!
