I wanted to be a part of the fashion industry since I was 14. Therefore I wanted to pursue it as a career, & so after my high school I joined a fashion institute to nurture my greed for fashion.

Now there is this magazine which is like the ‘fashion bible’ if you may call it! I always wanted to join this magazine & work there. After my college, I asked my professors to get me an internship at this particular magazine. But they said that they (the magazine) aren’t looking for interns right now & that they need professional people. I was totally let down & saw my dream cracking up. I asked my friends who work in the industry to hook me up with this magazine in any way they can. But I got the same reply from them. I was so let down that I couldn’t see anything else!

Then one day while cleaning my cupboard I found my copy of The Secret. I knew that it works because I had tried it before on little things like chocolates, train-seats, etc. So now I thought, why don’t I use The Secret to try bigger & better things, & what perfect way to start thinking about my dream internship place! So every day before going to sleep I used to imagine myself receiving a call from that magazine for a paid internship. Nothing happened for about a month.

Then suddenly, one day I was out with my cousins & my phone rang. The number was not known to me but somehow even before picking up the call I knew that it was from ‘my dream magazine’s’ office! They told me to join from the coming week & that they will be paying me as well!

I knew that this day, this call, this happiness would come, because ‘The Secret’ had given me the confidence to believe. I was so happy that I was literally jumping around!!

So thank you for this amazing book. Now my wishes always turn into reality at my pleasure!:)
