My husband recently changed companies within the road marking industry and entered a new job role as a Supervisor. This entailed less pay than he had been on previously but he was so much happier.

A couple of weeks later he mentioned to me that the firm he works for were looking at taking on an office manager and said I should put my CV (resume) in. I did this and the bosses (who are friends of ours anyway) were quite impressed. However, a week later they seemed to have decided to employ a family member instead. I put this down to experience and got on with my existing job, but I would still visualise having that office job at my husbands firm.

Two weeks later he called me asking me to come in and meet the bosses to talk about the job! I was shocked as I thought it wasn’t happening! Still I met with them and was offered an office job on the spot!! Whoohooo!!

A few months later I decided to do a mock up letter, on company headed paper, giving my husband a payrise. I typed in the amount I wanted him to have and the date I wanted it to start from. I knew that the company were not looking to alter the pay structure until later on in the year, so I folded the letter up, put it in my bag and forgot about it.

Two weeks later there was a company meeting and we were told that the wage structure was changing from the following week! The boss privately told me what my husband would be earning and it was EXACTLY what I had put in the letter and from the date requested in the letter!! I was totally gobsmacked! Later that night, at home, I found the folded up letter and showed it to my husband, he couldn’t believe it either!

The next day I took the letter into work and showed it to one of the bosses. He went a bit white (he was always taking the mickey about my visualisation stuff!), then he took the letter off me and signed it before handing it back!!

The Secret DOES work. I am looking forward to seeing what happens next for us. I am currently visualising the company we work for getting bigger and stronger so we can all benefit.
