DhakaBlessed girl because of The Secret.
First, thank you so much Rhonda and thank you to the whole team of The Secret. The selfless act of sharing The Secret to the world makes you guys very respectable in my eyes.
I had this habit of biting my nails for about 20 years of my life. I started when I was four and despite all the scoldings, taunting and the pain of literally biting the side skins of my nails, I wasn’t able to stop. I guess it is like smoking where you have the urge to smoke and you smoke. I have known about The Secret for a long while now, but I was always on the ‘on-off’ train. I saw all these people with beautiful nails and sometimes I used to feel ashamed of showing my hands because of my nails. So one day my boss was telling me “You really need to stop biting your nails”. That really hit me so I said to myself that I should.
The first thing I did was visualize my nails all long and beautiful and people complimenting my hands. Since I never had nails, it was hard the first time but the second time it got easier. I think I did this three times and suddenly I didn’t have the urge to bite my nails anymore. Just after the third time of visualizing I just did not want to bite my nails anymore. Then they grew really long but the best part was that I had absolutely no urges to bite them.
That had met the ‘long nails’ part of my desire, but as a part of my visualization I also imagined people complimenting my hands and nails. I am not a very ‘beauty care’ person, I am, but I never had nails so I had no idea how to take care of them, but the Universe does. So this friend suddenly one day said, let’s get French manicures. Honestly, I had always loved French manicures and the fact that I can now have them actually made me want to do it. And there were my beautiful, healthy nails. Everywhere I go I can proudly show my nails and I get compliments every time about how beautiful my nails are. The best part is that I have not had the urge to bite my nails in 6 months now.
Thank you so much guys, each and every one of you who write your stories. You inspire me. Thank you.
