I was absolutely dumbfounded yesterday when I got home!

I have a subscription to a specific newspaper which I get weekly in the mail. It is very important I get this paper on Thursdays due to time sensitive material that helps me get work over the upcoming weekend/week. Maybe once in 2 years I have received it on a Thursday! Sometimes Friday, mostly Saturdays which is way too late.
Well, deep down I have been anticipating getting it late every week, which I now have learned from The Secret, I am enforcing! So, this week I have been visualizing it waiting for me in my mailbox on Thursday along with a check lying on top of it. Thanks to all your wonderful and inspirational stories I have been focusing a lot lately on getting money and especially on my “checks in the mail” happy thoughts.
I was on the subway on my way home and I closed my eyes to visualize my excitement when opening my mailbox to see the newspaper and the check right on top of it. Well, I opened my mailbox and guess what? Yep, you guessed it – the newspaper was lying inside with a few pieces of mail on top. One piece of mail was a card from a friend with a $100 check she was sending me as a late housewarming gift!

I was seriously in shock and kept saying “No way, this can’t be, oh my God! No way”. Then, I thanked the universe over and over while tearing up a bit, and then of course called my friend to thank her profusely! Just to keep you more inspired, ever since watching The Secret last month, my new attitude towards money has changed my life, and changed my financial situation completely. So many small things happen everyday and I continue to get more and more excited and to be more and more grateful.
