Dubai, UAELiving each day in the joy of gratitude!
I would like to begin by expressing my gratitude. Firstly to Rhonda Byrne and the entire Secret Team, thank you for sharing such life changing knowledge with the entire world! You truly have bought ‘joy to millions’. Next off, everyone else who has posted up stories of how The Secret changed their lives in big or small ways, thank you all! And finally to whoever is reading this, thank you! I hope this story inspires you and encourages you to make your dreams a reality.
Back in March 2012, I wrote my 10th grade CBSE Board exams. Now for those of you who don’t exactly know what it is, its a set of final exams that’s literally like a rite of passage for students who study in the CBSE system. In short it’s a big deal. Now my dream was to score an overall 10 point CGPA. That’s the highest you can aim for.
So in the months prior to my exams, I studied very very hard. I put in my 100%. But at the same time I was aware that in order to attract good results I also needed to put myself in the HIGHEST possible frequency! So I made sure that all day long, whether it was the day of the exam or the study holidays, that I was happy!
During my breaks, I listened to music that made me happy, thought of things and people that made me happy, thought of things that I was grateful for. I also visualized getting my 10 point CGPA.
Over and over again, I imagined my results coming out, I imagined my family’s overwhelming joy to it, I imagined telling my friends, I imagined going around school the day after results were published and meeting my teachers, I imagined all of them asking me my results and I imagined saying ‘I got an overall 10 point CGPA’.
During the visualization moments it felt so real, that I almost felt like I had just fast forwarded my life to the day when I get my results. Visualization really helped a lot. There were times I doubted myself and felt nervous about the tougher subjects but by visualizing my results as I wanted them I was able to ride over those feelings.
The exams went really well, each and everyone of them. They were the best exams I have written so far. Then 2 months later my results came out and
â¦â¦â¦â¦â¦â¦â¦â¦â¦â¦I GOT AN OVERALL 10 POINT CGPA!
It was a much better moment then I could have possibly imagined!
Now here’s my favorite part of the story. As I type this, it is the 28th of February 2012. In other words my Board exams haven’t begun yet. But you would know that the fact I sent in this story in in August means that it is over and my results are out and it’s exactly as I have typed out.
You see, typing this story in the past tense itself is another visualization technique!
I would also like to wish students appearing for their Board exams the very best of luck. I hope my story inspired you.
