How I Unknowingly Used the Law of Attraction.
Submitted by: Anne F. Iglesias
Westfield, MAI am a happily married women with 5 kids, 3 grandkids and 3 dogs. 4 years ago I was diagnosed with Fibromyalgia and have been learning to adjust my life to the challenges FM brings. I believe life is a personal journey and each moment should be treasured.
When I read the story about how Anna found her home in the article “The Law of Attraction Does Work”, it immediately reminded me of when I put my request out to the Universe, unknowingly. And, months later, I realized how I put this exact practice to work. It was an astounding thing to realize what I had done, without even knowing it, and I wonder why I don’t employ this Universal fact more often. This story was a good reminder, and your request for similar stories will hopefully get me moving toward using the Law of Attraction on a regular basis. For now though, here is my story:
After being diagnosed with Fibromyalgia, my family and I were facing the fact that without my income, we could not afford to live in our dream home and had to find a suitable place to live. By suitable, I mean, not only in a good neighborhood. It also had to have five bedrooms as we still had four children and a granddaughter living with us. It also had to allow dogs since we had three, and be affordable. While trying to find a home, I continued to sell on Etsy and Ebay, and wrote my blog “At The Pink House”.
A few months later, after we were settled in our new home, I looked back at my blog writings and realized I had used the Law of Attraction to manifest where we would live next. This is what I wrote:
“So now the search for a new home that fits our multi-generational, large family, has become a bit of a challenge. We are limited with $$$ to pay for rent, need 5 bedrooms, a place to keep our business going and growing, preferably with some land so we can have some peace and seclusion. Am I in Dream World? Yeah, I think so. Oh Did I Mention We Have 3 Dogs???”.
Where did we end up, you wonder? On a beautiful, peaceful lake. An affordable, five bedroom home with room for an office, and they allowed dogs. As I read this, I was stunned, it was just what we were looking for, and all I did was write down what we needed.
As I mentioned, finding this article has reminded me just how powerful our thoughts are. As we continue to rebuild our life, my thoughts are on what I want to “do” with my new found gifts unwrapped by the fibromyalgia, and also what type of home I would like to purchase. I visualize it, go to sleep living and feeling it and continue to add and define exactly what would be the perfect life for my husband and I to enjoy.
