Fear Of Brain Tumour Dispelled

For the past three years, I had been experiencing periodic disturbances in my brain, which for lack of better description I referred to as severe headaches. The headache would last for about two months at a time before subsiding, usually after reassurance from a doctor that I was alright. I could only attribute this problem to banging my head very hard on the door frame of my van some four years back.
Well, three months ago (April 2010), I started experiencing these disturbances again, and instead of going down as usual, they increased to the point where I could hardly concentrate on anything else. I therefore went to see a specialist for more investigations.
On suspicion of several causes, including a possible tumor, he referred me for a brain MRI.
Considering my experience over the past three years, and information from various sources on such cases, I was immediately gripped with the fear of brain cancer. I was almost convinced that a tumor had been growing in there for the past three years.
While waiting to undergo the test, I went into a lot of prayers, and as if in response to my prayers, my wife gave me a copy of The Secret! I devoured the book so fast, and read the chapter on good health several times over. With what I learned I built up my faith in my own good health so much that I was finally able to take the test. I kept declaring to myself that I was in perfect health all the way to the medical center and throughout the thirty minutes of screening.
I am happy to report that I checked my results online yesterday and everything was perfectly normal. I owe a lot to The Secret for restoring my faith in God and myself!
