The Painting Lady 1

I have a good full time job at a local hospital. But I have always wanted to do more to make a difference some way or another!!! I majored in art in high school and at community college, and I have been lucky enough to find a really good art studio locally to take painting lessons and eventually teach children’s painting classes on weekends.
I broke my ankle about two years ago, and while recovering, my brother-in-law, husband, and son, having had enough of me talking about starting my art studio, told me to get going and do it!!! Well, sure enough, when I changed my attitude of, “Maybe I could,” to “YES I CAN,” and with the help of my family, I now have my own little Art Studio, called The Painting Lady 1 !!! It is part time, but what a wonderful gift I have here!!!
The name Painting Lady1 came about when I was teaching at a local art store. I was helping a student get her art supplies, and the store clerk forgot my name and called out, “Hey Painting Lady!” The number 1 is because I was the only teacher in the store at the time!!! Everyone said that should be the name of my Art Studio, so things took off from that humble beginning!
Now I so look forward to my full time and especially going to my own Art Studio and teaching students that they too can paint and create beautiful art!!!!!
