My journey began when my boyfriend's mother told me about The Secret and how positive thinking can actually change one's life. I brushed it aside at the time. That was this past year, but her words about The Secret stayed with me. I decided to find out what I could about The Secret. I got a few principles from the website and decided to put them to use. I also got a copy of the DVD and put up a vision board.
My boyfriend studies in South Africa, and I only get to see him once a year during the holidays in December. This year we decided that we should try and save to go visit him. We were doing great till I got mugged one morning on my way to school. I lost my phone and money and I had to use a chunk of my savings to replace what had been stolen. In spite of this I didn't give up hope. True, I had moments when I doubted, but in the end I decided to have complete faith, and you guessed it, 3 weeks later I was on my way to Pretoria. I had 0 shillings in my account a week before I left, but somehow my boyfriend sent part of the money for the ticket and I raised the rest through a loan from my brother. I spent 8 lovely days there. Came back well rested.
The Secret works, just believe. One thing that helped me was I did things outta faith, like I booked a ticket without money, got my visa requirements ready, started packing, etc. All this set the universe in motion.
Thank you Rhonda.
