I was behind on all of my bills - at least $2000 worth. I wrote out checks for each of the bills I had to pay, put it in an envelope, labeled the envelope "Paid Off," and thumb-tacked it to my desk at work to look at every day.
In the money part of The Secret, it says to not focus on debt, but prosperity. I eliminated all thoughts of debt and bills and "cannot afford," and focused on having lots of money and on positive outcomes.
The day after the collection departments had called me to pay on my delinquent accounts, my Mom called me and offered to pay for all of my bills.
I am now focusing on the money that's in the process of coming to me to pay my Mom back and to live the life I know I'm destined to have.
