The Secret - Music to my ears

I have been a follower of positive thinking techniques for many years, but had 'lapsed' in recent months. A friend gave me The Secret book to give me a bit of a lift. As I read the first few pages and started thinking about my recent life, I realised I had been using The Secret all along. The book made it 'oh so clear'. An example is with my music. I wanted a new acoustic/electric guitar, but could not justify the cost to my family. I changed jobs not long after picking out the guitar I wanted. The staff passed the hat around when I left and gave me a farewell present of a $100 gift voucher for the local music shop. I could now afford to buy the guitar I wanted at a price I could afford.
The Secret was right - I desired the guitar, played it in the shop every second day, and thought constantly about it. The Universe then provided an opportunity to buy it.
