A new life for me

OK, so here goes. The Secret has changed my life for the better in so many ways. It all began when my mom wanted to get some pain medication for her sore tooth, and she set out to Zellers to find some (she wanted to shop a bit too). Normally, I'd tell her to have fun before returning to the book I was currently reading. This time, however, I decided that it would be good for me to get out of the house. Little did I know, this would be a day that would change my entire life.
First of all, I had discovered that I have floaters (annoying black things that flit across your field of vision) a few months ago, and that they were steadily getting worse. Normally a happy teenager, I became depressed. I was told I would live with them for the rest of my life and I just wanted to quit everything. I begrudged my friend's happy carefree lives, and hated going outside (the snow made them show up vividly). I was becoming angry and reclusive, only putting on a pitiful facade at school to keep people from worrying about me. Now, back to Zellers...
I picked up The Secret there, wondering what it was. I figured, hey I've got money to spend (I just 'celebrated' my 16th b-day) so why not buy it? My mom asked me repeatedly if I was sure I wanted it, seeing as it was twenty bucks and it might be a load of hooey (I had no idea what it was about, I merely picked it up on a whim).
Several times, I almost set it down, but by the time we were at the cash register I stubbornly held on to it. That night I read it, and my life lit up again. I now had hope that my life could be enjoyed, and not just dealt with. I had grown accustomed to just existing with my situation, thinking that I was just unlucky and that others had it off far worse. I was totally wrong.
I now see completely clearly and can happily gaze at the bright blue sky without bits of debris clouding my vision. Not many people my age get floaters, so If you are reading this and don't understand how liberating that was for me, just compare it to finally seeing the sun after a year inside a dark room. That's how free I felt. I now live each day happily, and things just work out effortlessly. Thank you so much Rhonda Byrne!!! You said you wanted to bring the world happiness, well check me off the list because I'm just peachy!!:) THANK YOU EVERYONE :)
