The difference between the haves and the have nots?????

This past spring, my boyfriend and I would walk around the beautiful neighborhood where he lives. I'd see people who were living in million dollar homes. I'd see people who drove hundred thousand dollar cars. Every day I'd see people who'd walk thousand dollar dogs who looked like they should compete in "best in show". Wow, I would think. I started asking every day, "What's the difference between us and them? Why do they own while we pay rent? What's the difference?"
I'd ask him. Every day he would say, "I don't know Toni." I would answer by telling him, "They have the secret, and when I find out what it is, I'm gonna use it to change my life"!!!! I said this just about every day for 2 weeks.
I'd spoke to my mom and she said, "I have this great book you just have to read, it's gonna change your life!" My mother never told me the title of the book. It was the "The Secret". I attracted it into my life! This story gives me goose bumps, because it is so very very real that it's scary!
