Getting Your Parking Space...

The little example David uses in The Secret I started using a long time ago, before I even knew about The Secret movie and this concept.

I believe I read the idea elsewhere, but just remember taking it and trying it out. Whenever I go out to a game, concert, nightclub, etc., a place where typically one has to pay to park in a lot nearby, I envision a spot somewhere on the street (legally) near the location; often times when I frequent a particular location, I'll envision the exact spot I want.

3 things happen just about EVERY single time:

a) I pull up to the spot and park..it's open.

b) The spot is taken, but a couple of minutes driving around, and it does open up.

c) Another spot opens up in that general area; sometimes closer, sometimes just a bit further out.

On the flipside, if I hesitate at a spot and don't take it, well, someone else does when I come back to it...kind of nice how that works. This also tends to work only if I'm driving...if in a friend's car, no go.

I can count on one hand the # of times over the years I've paid to park.
