My Lovely Dentist
from United Kingdom
Hi, I feel so blessed to be sitting here writing this story when I have, so many times, been sitting reading the stories that have given me hope and encouragement. Thank you so much to all those people who have and do share their stories.
Right, my story starts with a fear of the Dentist or going to the Dentist. I have a truly wonderful Dentist that I have got to trust over the years, but still....not liking!
Anyway, come the Easter holidays and yep, toothache. I took pain killers and put up with it for a week or so in the hope it would just go away but it didn't. I knew I needed to go to the Dentist and my husband kept persuading me to.
I made an appointment only to be told that my dentist was on holiday.... however, I saw another dentist who confirmed that I needed root canal etc when my regular dentist returned from holiday. Oh my gosh, my fears came true. I have always been frightened of having root canal because of all the scary stories etc and I really didn't want to go down this route (no pun intended)!
Ok, well at the same time I had been (and still am) reading The Magic, so with the combination of The Secret, The Power and now The Magic I thought I'm going to try and heal my tooth before my appointment. So I did, I imagined my tooth with a white light on it and the tooth repairing itself, I kept saying over and over "thank you for my healing". I even opened my mouth in the mirror and thanked my teeth for everything they do for me!!! I also kept thinking of my Dentist and thinking how lucky I was to have such a lovely dentist - he is really good and I do genuinely feel very lucky to have him as my Dentist.
I have to admit I knew it was possible but I trusted that if it didn't work that The Secret etc still worked, but that I had more to learn and so was thankful for the lesson. In short I kind of let go, I didn't become desparate out of fear.
I'm sure you guys will be pleased to know that on Monday I went for my appointment to see my regular dentist and he said he wanted to check it again which I was relieved about as I thought he would just go ahead knowing that his colleague had already diognosed my tooth.
After a re-examination, he said I didn't need root canal and that it was just a replacement filling! Oh I am sooo happy, I was walking on air. I know some would say, but you still need a filling, but I'm sure I can heal that too and anyways I'm not so bothered about that, though I would rather not!
I really hope that this story will help anybody out there who is in a similar position, as the issue for me was not wanting to imagine anything to do with dentists at all. However, If you just let yourself imagine the best possible outcome, you never know it might just come true as it did for me.
Thank you Rhonda, thank you so, so much for putting yourself on the line to help others including me. I feel truly blessed to have attracted the knowledge of The Secret, it has changed my life. Thank You.
