Singing with Stevie Wonder

Hi all, my name is John Pereira. This is my story about how The Secret worked for me. First of all, at the time I wasn't doing too well with myself, "depressed and angry" with a bad business parnership my sister had at the time and we were all working together! My sister was pestering me to watch The Secret, till one day she made us all stop what we were doing and watch and concentrate on the movie. From that day on I decided to give it a go and just practice it.
Two days later I was at the gym reading the paper when I opened it up to concert dates for "Stevie Wonder" on the 22nd of October!!! Which of course is my birthday. I said to my sister, this is it. I'm not gonna just meet him, I'm gonna sing with him!!!
I told everyone I can think of that I have met "George Benson", I partied with "Jamiroquai" and now I'm gonna sing with the head honcho himself "Stevie". Everyone thought I was crazy. The next day I went to see my brother. I went to make him a coffee and asked him to pause the program on foxtel we were watching. When I came back to the lounge room it was paused on WIN THE CHANCE TO SING LIVE ON STAGE WITH STEVIE WONDER. I couldn't believe it!!!
Ok next I went straight home and entered in 20 words why you want to sing with Stevie... So words just flew out of my mouth. Then I submited it. I said to my girlfriend "Should I enter it again?" and the computer just crapped itself!! Never ever worked again!!! I said to her, "Don't worry, this is mine, I don't need to enter it again!"
A week or so had passed and I was out having some drinks with some friends. I looked over at one of my mates and said "Do you know i'm gonna sing with "Stevie?" Again another person looking at me like I was crazy!!!
The very next day I went home after work and saw my sister and said to her what am I gonna do when I sing with him? She said just take your time cause it will be over before you know it, so savor the moment. I went home to have an afternoon nap when my phone started ringing. I answered it, the guy says "Is this John Pereira? And did you enter a competition?" I replied, "Yes". He said, "Well congatulations you're the national winner!!!!" I screamed and started throwing my girlfriend in the air!!! I called my parents and screamed! I called my sister and started screaming. I called my brother and started screaming!! And my friend who I told the night before that replied, "Yeah yeah", when I told him could not believe it!!!
So all of the people who don't believe! BELIEVE!!!! I'm living proof and if you would like to watch it search "JOHN PEREIRA SINGING WITH STEVIE WONDER" ON YOUTUBE!!! THIS IS MY STORY!
