Three years of Hard Work or Three Weeks of Affirmations

I had a career change about six years ago. I decided to go into teaching. I took a job at Wal-mart which allowed me to go to college for the six months that I needed to get my teaching certificate.
The time went by, I got my certification and started looking for a teaching position. One year went by, two years went by almost three years went by and I still was unable to obtain a teaching position. Stocking shelves at Wal-mart did not take a lot of concentration so I used to hum and sing songs softly to myself as I worked.
I had watched The Secret before but for some reason I decided to watch it again. After that I decided to not sing popular tunes but instead I made up songs about getting my perfect job, making more money, having a better schedule and getting a job that I enjoyed.
Within three weeks of doing this, I got the teaching position that I wanted for the last three years. I am still teaching and whenever possible I spread the teaching of The Secret with my students hoping to plant seeds of prosperity.
