Power of Determination

I truly want to say thank you to Rhonda, The Secret Teachers, and everyone who submits their story. When you are down the stories inspire you and when you are uplifted they push you even higher.
I read in one of the stories about someone who had money owing to them. They wrote out a cheque and got their money.
We have a friend (I’ll call him Bill), who owes us money and I wanted to see how it would go. So I wrote out a cheque in the amount owing, dated it for the end of June and signed Bill’s name at the bottom. The only person I told about this cheque was my mom. I didn’t tell my husband because I wanted to see how miraculous this truly works. Within three days my husband told me that he had been speaking with Bill (by the way Bill never answers his phone and yet Bill picked up the phone on the first try), Bill said he would pay us out within the next two weeks.
I had a huge smile on my face as I was so excited. My husband didn’t know at all about the cheque I had written and I didn’t want to say anything until I had the money in hand.
A week went by and I asked my husband about the money. He said it probably wouldn’t happen because he truly didn’t believe Bill would pay out.
So I made another cheque on July 6th and dated it for July 9th. I envisioned Bill phoning my husband and telling him the money is on the way. I believe everything is possible. At dinner last night (July 7th) my husband said Bill had called (Bill NEVER calls) and said he is definitely paying us. I was so excited I could hardly sleep that night. I looked up towards the sky and said "thank you". I am so grateful.
I KNOW Bill is paying us within the next week and then I’ll show my husband the cheques I’ve written. With the help of God and the Universe they did all my work for me. All I had to do was write up a cheque and believe.
