Well, my story was a story of unhappiness... As I lost my home to a hurricane in 2005. Although I was blessed to be able to live in a FEMA trailer, I knew that that would come to an end. Well, we got a six month extention. Which I'm very thankful for.
To get back to my story. As I worried about my situation, I became more and more depressed.
I was to the point where for about three months all I did the whole day was ponder on ways to end my life. It was a daily ritual. Every day I did the same planning and pondering as to the best route to take to end it all.
Then in Feb. I turned on the T.V. and Oprah had a few guests from The Secret. It was a turning point in my life. I listened intently as person after person told how The Secret changed their lives.
From that day forward, I was on the right road. I had a hard time finding The Secret book or DVD. It wasn't until April that I was able to get a copy of each. But, when I found them, I purchased them as quickly as I possibly could. I didn't want them to sell out again.
I shudder to think what would have happened if I had not seen That Oprah Show, as I usually don't watch The Oprah Show. I'm so thankful that The Secret found me.
