Miraculous Laptop Recovery.

USAStill learning the process of the law of attraction.
This is my first story here and I’m beyond grateful to get this opportunity. I’ve known about The Secret since 2013 and have had success in small little things here and there. Even though I majorly struggle and have a long way to go on learning to use it to my fullest potential, the knowledge has changed me as a person. I’m more calm and optimistic than I ever was before. I recently tried to use The Secret on fixing my laptop and it worked like magic.
So what happened was about 3 weeks ago, I accidentally dropped about half a bottle of water on my Macbook Air. I had only bought that laptop less than a year ago. It was my most expensive gift to myself after I found a decent job after college. So you would think that my natural reaction would have been to get pissed off or frustrated about what happened. I was surprisingly calm the whole time as I was trying to wipe off the water from the keyboard. Then I tried to turn on my laptop a few times and it wouldn’t turn on. I surprisingly didn’t panic at all and kept on telling myself that this will be okay, there’s nothing to worry about.
Later on, I did some research on what to do and came in to find out that trying to turn on the laptop while it may still have some water on it is one of the biggest mistakes you can do because it would fry your cables. I didn’t worry about all the negative comments online and just put my laptop in our rice bin. I found out later that when my brother came home that night and found out about my laptop, he tried to turn it on again. When I found out that he tried to turn it on, I got angry for a second because that could have possibly damaged the laptop more. But then I continued to repeat and tell myself that this will be alright until I felt calm again.
My laptop stayed in the rice bin for 4 days. I took it out after 4 days and it still didn’t turn on. I figured there might still be water in there so I let it sit in my table. I even tried to put it under a fan. A week passed. I would try to turn it on every day and nothing worked. My mom and brother kept on asking me what was I going to do now because I definitely need a laptop for my school. I would always optimistically tell them that my laptop will be fine, don’t worry. My brother was continuously telling me that if you drop water on your Mac, you are pretty much done so you need to have a Plan B. My response to him was once again, “My laptop will just be fine and I don’t need a Plan B”. I visualized having my laptop back and also repeated the affirmation “My laptop will be working fine, just like new.”. I even surprised myself at how calm I had been this whole time.
After waiting for about 10 days, I finally decided to take it to the Apple Store. My laptop was still under manufacturer warranty since it was less than a year old. But I didn’t tell them that it was water damaged because that instantly voids the warranty. The rep sent my laptop to the repair center and told me that they will test it and see what’s going on. My brother kept on telling me that once they test it, they are going to know that it’s water damaged so they will definitely not repair anything. I didn’t feel worried and just told him to have faith.
Well to conclude this story, I’m writing this post from my laptop! They replaced 2 of the cables and never mentioned anything about water damage. Now my computer is working like new. I mean I literally screwed up and tried to turn on the laptop many times which according to the many comments online pretty much means that I’m doomed. I didn’t have any extended warranty that covers Apple Care. I am going back to school now and only working part time so repairing it or getting a new one would have been very difficult with my current financial situation. Seriously, this is literally a miracle!
Thank you. Thank you. Thank you. I hope I get many more stories to write in the future. I also want to thank you guys for all the stories you post because I always come here to read them whenever I need uplifting or positive vibes. Thank you all.
