Life, A Series Of Miracles!

IndiaI'm a blessed child. The Universe is my best friend and blesses me with all the good things in life. I have floated through life like a bubble and although there have been bumps, I look back only to love my journey and be grateful for how beautiful it has truly been!
Throughout my life, I have loved my Father the most. You know, the usual daughter’s first love, daughter’s hero, daddy’s little girl. I could be summed up in all of those words. I love my Dad. Perhaps that is the reason why my world came crashing down when he was diagnosed with liver cirrhosis when I was 19.
So you see, he had been a raging alcoholic for years after meeting with two major accidents in his late 30’s and early 40’s. His professional life was in a mess and he constantly abused himself devoid of my family’s attempts of getting him to stop. And then it came down to him being confined to a hospital bed, depending on a ventilator to keep his respiratory system functional for a month and a half before a liver transplant could be done.
I had been practicing The Secret for about 3 years then, but when my Dad was in the hospital, fighting for his life, I truly learnt to put it in use. I expressed heartfelt gratitude for everything in my life. I used techniques like “Pray Rain Journaling”, affirmations, “Heart Magic” as described in The Magic and employed all that I could to express my genuine and sincerest gratitude for the life, health and happiness of my father.
When I used to go and meet him I would hold his hand and send him the most positive energy. I would wish him with my good health, my youth and my energy. I would thank the Universe a million times for keeping him alive and blessing him with the power to fight his battles. I would remain thankful throughout, so thankful that it continued to persist as an eternal part of my being.
And what did it do? It saved my fathers life! All that gratitude seemed to get the Universe to see how loved he is and that he had to stay and that is what my dearest Universe delivered to us! My father got off the ventilator and breathed just fine. He agreed to the liver transplant which turned out to be a very successful one. He underwent a spinal surgery to correct his spine-related problems and before my 20th birthday, he was right back with a bang!! Seeing him walk, seeing him be himself again, it was truly being a witness to the most magnificent miracle of my dearest Universe!
Today, my father is living the dream that I dreamed for him and for us. He is healthy, happy and successful! Our lives are so blessed and we are all so grateful. It seems even more miraculous when I trace this magnificent miracle to discovering a book called The Secret back in school. I guess it is true what they say, the Universe works in mysterious ways!
Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!
